Devil Dogs
History Makers is pleased to be working with historian Saul David to bring his book Devil Dogs to screen. We expect to develop this story into a documentary film.
Director Tim Robinson on Devil Dogs:
“For me, this is a story about what happens to young men thrust into the heart of darkness. Initially repelled by the enemy’s barbarism, they are inevitably brutalised into adopting the very methods that they at first found so abhorrent. A select few somehow retain their sanity by writing about it , by bearing witness to the world, and are saved by their hared comradeship”.
