Graham and Matt kindly spent a day in sunny Dorset lugging camera equipment up and down Iron Age hill forts to get some scenic shots. As you can tell, they were super enthusiastic about the rural cutaways. At some stage, we want to dig into the detail about hill forts in Britain, changing interpretations, and Durotrigan hill forts in particular.

Filming at the Durotriges Dig Site - 2023
The weather was perfect for our first day of filming at the Durotriges dig site. We even got the drone out! The chalk pits make for an eye-catching site in wide shot and from above but it's quite tricky filming in and around them on the ground. Being at a site like this on such a glorious day is one of the best things about making archaeology films!
